In addition, for the last 11 years, Adrian and his marketing team’s efforts have also been put into the development strategy of Borsec, a brand with a success story which goes back more than 200 years. His marketing team reamined the same for more than 10 years.

Anca Harasim is the Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Romania (AmCham Romania), the Vice-President of Harvard Club Romania-Moldova and a founding member of Aspen Institute Romania. She holds a Master Degree in Public Administration from John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Over the last 19 years, she has fulfilled assignments in major non-governmental organizations in Romania, as Executive Director of the Soros Foundation for an Open Society, the Fulbright Commission and AmCham Romania. Her consultancy experience consists of previous assignments like The World Bank consultant for Albania’s Poverty Reduction Strategy Program, and consultant for the European Commission’s largest PHARE Program in Romania on reforming the Local Public Administration.
With almost twenty years senior-level experience in managing and developing non-profit organizations, of public policy and program strategic planning, management development and implementation of innovative reform projects in Central & Eastern Europe, Anca is currently serving on the boards of several NGOs.

Anca Ionita is the Publisher of the renowned English language weekly publication Business Review, which she co-founded 15 years ago. She stands out in the communication field for being a very experienced editor and publisher in Romania as well as worldwide.
During her impressive journalistic career, she developed outstanding roles as Publisher and Editor in Chief of Time Out Bucuresti and Editor in Chief of Business Review. Previously, she was correspondent for Romania for the prestigious publication International Herald Tribune for 3 years.
Anca Ionita holds a MFA and PhD degree from UNATC Bucuresti in Theatre Studies along with a BS from Bucharest National Polytechnics University. She has been lecturer and PhD at Bucharest National University of Theatre and Film since 1996. Anca Ionita is also a collaborator of Festivalul National de Teatru and a German Marshall Fund fellow, amongst many others projects ongoing.

As a product branding Project Manager, she discovered her passion for branding and so, at the end of 2009, she became a Brand Consultant, working for both product branding and service branding divisions. Corneliu Cojocaru is reputed communication professional who gathered almost 20 years of hard work and success in the PR field, following a successful career in economic TV journalism. He is a dynamic speaker, who inspires audiences, proving an in-depth hnowledge of both PR and economics.
Between years 1997 and 2013 he acted as spokesman and Head of Communication leading Romanian Commercial Bank (Banca Comerciala Romana) and from 2013 he joined the National Bank of Romania as Principal Expert / Counselor in the Communication Department.
He is a member of the Jury of Honor of the Romanian Association of Public Relations (ARRP).

Cristian China Birta is blogger on cristianchinabirta.ro and online entrepreneur. Formed as journalist, he then crossed “the other side” and worked in the local and central public administration, becoming then a communication consultant.

He is also the Founder of the “AUTOBEST”, the second largest European independent motoring media organization, with no less than 9 European awards, top accolades for different car industry domains.

With a solid background and expertise in the international commercial environment, Mr. Sharp is the Chief Executive Officer of Urgent Cargus, one of the largest courier company on the Romanian market.
In 1991, Mr. Sharp joined DHL Express as a sales executive and the Customer Services Manager in DHL Saudi Arabia was the starting point for his international career. After managing DHL Sudan – a very challenging role, as the country was confronting a civil war, Mr. Sharp moves to Syria to implement DHL standards, procedures and practices. From Middle East, East Asia is the next destination: as General Manager for DHL South China Area, Mr. Sharp dealt with a very dynamic economic environment where the growth rate was 30% – 40% per year; this role was mainly focused on business fast development.
In 2001, Mr. Sharp moves to our country managing DHL Romania and in 2008, after DHL acquires Cargus, he is appointed to manage both companies. From 2009, Mr. Sharp is appointed to manage DHL Bulgaria as well, until 2013 when Abris Capital Partners buys Cargus from DHL and Mr. Sharp takes the role of CEO for Cargus International S.A. Mircea Kivu graduated Sociology at the University of Bucharest (1978) and has a MA in Demography and Social Sciences at Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales – Paris (1991). He is known as the author of several books and papers in sociology, woth expertise in public opinion polling.
Since 1992, he held top positions in several markets research institutions (Research Director and CEO and IMAS Marketing si Sondaje, Vice-President for Research on Research at Ipsos Interactive Services, Operational Directors at Mercury Research).

At first a Geologist Engineer, Nora Marcovici decided to radically change her career path in 1992, when she joined the first media company in Romania, Global Media, becoming the Executive Director of the company. Between 2003 and 2008, she coordinated the launch of three notable radio stations – Kiss FM (to become the number one radio in Romania), One FM and Magic FM, as well as Kiss TV, a well-known music television.
Nora was one of the founders of Romanian Television Audience Measurement Association (2001), the Vice-President of Romanian Audio Visual Communications Association (2006-2008) and the President of Romanian Radio Audio Measurement Association. Raluca Kisescu’s story with Avon starts in 1999, when she was accepted here as Marketing Assistant. She was the second person within the department.
Since her very first years in Avon she has been facing numerous challenges. She was involved in opening new markets like Moldavia, Serbia and Bosnia and also in launching bold projects for the early 2000s.
In 2004, she took the lead of the commercial marketing department, the division taking care of everything that means marketing plans implementation, promotions, products launches and events.
In 2009, Raluca Kisescu was dessignated „Marketer of the Year” by Business Woman Magazine.
She currently coordinates a team formed of 20 people, including an online division.
During these 10 yeas of coordinating everything involving Avon brand activation, she put her mark on some of the boldest project in Romania, many of them in the unconventional advertising area like „AVON gives you like” or „The AVON Beauty Dance”.

2007 – The first Cannes Lion prize ever won by Romania within this prestigious international competition for the Breast Cancer Crusade Campaign.
2008 – Avon Romania launches the first company blog from the organization, www.avonspaceblog.ro, awarded as the best company blog on the ocasion of 2010 Rolblog Fest edition
2009 – Avon launches modern instruments in order to create optimal conditions for its Representatives: the perfumed credit card or „My Avon Mobile” network
2009 – Avon embraces social media. We launch our ”virtual office” on Facebook, Twitter, Flicker and Youtube. We speak about our projects ina transparent way and are ready to answer your question in a quick manner.
2010 – Avon Romania launches Avon Connects, an online community gathering over
80 000 members.
2010 – Avon Romania launches „Lucky 13” play, directed by Beatrice Rancea, the one to be played exclusively by amateur actors.
2010 – Avon Romania launches The Book of Love written by Alice Năstase and dedicated to the 13th anniversary of the company in Romania (augmented reality code on the back cover)
2011 – Avon Romania is, according to Gemius and Daedalus studies, the most visible cosmetic brand within the online environment. Avon entered directly on the 5th place in Top Social Brands top, much before all his competitors.
